Context Vault

Keep what your agents learn

Save useful decisions, references and patterns once. Retrieve them in later sessions from a vault of Markdown files you own.

Use it for

Context that survives the conversation

A place for knowledge that matters again after the current task is over.

  • Remember decisions

Keep the reasoning behind a choice so the next session can find it.

  • Retrieve useful knowledge

Search saved references, insights and patterns instead of starting from an empty chat.

  • Keep the files

The local vault is readable Markdown. You can inspect and edit the records yourself.

How it works

Save, search, reuse

Context Vault is a product built by Klarhimmel. The local engine and the hosted dashboard serve different needs.

Start with a local vault

The local engine connects to compatible AI tools through MCP. Agents can save and retrieve records; you can still open the Markdown files directly. Keep client material in a vault and environment approved for that work.

Choose a hosted workflow when you need it

A separate hosted dashboard supports browsing and managing records in the cloud. It has its own account and service configuration; it is not a requirement for using the local engine.

Keep memory honest

Saved records are source material, not automatically verified answers. Retain where a claim came from and review knowledge that could be out of date before an agent uses it to make a decision.

Questions

Before you choose

A few practical things to know before choosing this product.

Does this replace my documents?

No. It gives agents a way to save and retrieve useful knowledge. The local records remain Markdown files you control.

Is local memory the same as the hosted service?

No. The local engine and hosted dashboard are separate options. Choose the one that fits your data and collaboration needs.

Does it guarantee correct answers?

No. Agents can retrieve stale or mistaken records. Source notes and human review still matter.
